Job summary

The Progeny Group Limited is seeking an Investment Manager to deliver high-quality investment management services to private clients and intermediary partners within the Private Asset Management team. You will contribute to the management and development of multi-asset solutions, supporting fund selection, asset allocation, risk management, and client reporting.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 7 CISI qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role with an asset management firm (essential).
• Comprehensive knowledge of investments and stock markets.
• Good knowledge and understanding of FCA conduct of business rules and suitability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Part of PAM Active solutions within established risk profiles.
• Contribute to PAM success by collaborating across investment teams.
• Undertake due diligence on fund allocations, including leading manager meetings and documenting findings.
• Contribute to Active portfolio construction across asset classes.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the investment process.
• Participate in weekly, monthly & quarterly investment meetings with material prep and decision support.
• Support acquisition of new clients and growth of assets under management.
• Foster development across Investment teams and collaboration.
• Enhance the firm’s reputation through professional presence and industry engagement.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external fund houses/regulators.
• Support marketing by engaging in events and producing marketing material.
• Comply with FCA principles and APER requirements; maintain CPD and fitness-and-proper status.
