Job Title: Investment Manager

Location: London

The Investment Manager (IM) acts as the clients' primary contact for all investment needs and discussions. Your role will be client-facing, responsible for delivering Deutsche Bank Wealth Management solutions, including Discretionary and Advisory portfolio management, Lending, Deposits, Capital Markets, Alternative Investments, and Wealth Planning. You will leverage the expertise of the Chief Investment Office (CIO) and Deutsche Bank product specialists to provide investment insights, discuss market updates, create bespoke solutions, and conduct portfolio reviews.

Your key responsibilities

• Serve as a primary or secondary contact for investment-related discussions covering Deutsche Bank Wealth Management solutions
• Identify client needs, originate solutions, and increase wallet share to meet commercial objectives
• Monitor portfolios, suggest rebalancing, and ensure alignment with Deutsche Bank CIO's views and asset allocations
• Assess risk appetite, ensure suitability and appropriateness, and oversee portfolios accordingly
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Deutsche Bank policies in all trades and investments
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to develop investment proposals and pitch materials, showcasing Deutsche Bank Wealth Management capabilities

Your skills and experience

• Strong investment knowledge across asset classes with an interest in global markets
• Ability to deliver capital markets outlooks and lead investment discussions confidently in various settings
• Understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (RDR, MiFID II) and tax treatments, including UK Resident non-Domiciled (RND) rules
• Working towards or holding RDR Level 4 (Level 6 preferred) qualification
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented attitude
