Role Overview

The ideal candidate is a real estate expert with a broad range of institutional investment, financial management, tax planning, and asset/portfolio management, capital market and investor management experience. The candidate will build and manage an investment portfolio at an institutional level, including deal sourcing, financial analysis, risk management, investor relations, and asset management. The candidate should have a network to source, execute, and manage investment opportunities in major markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years investment/PERE experience in real estate equity and debt investment, portfolio/asset management, or REIT; logistics and industrial park experience preferred but not required.
• Understanding of asset fundamentals, market drivers, and value maximization; deal negotiation and transaction experience highly valued.
• Experience with complex investment structures, including joint ventures, preferred equity, mezzanine investments; knowledge of capital sources and financing processes.
• Strong analytical skills in logistics and real estate financial modeling.
• Experience in entity-level investments and REITs, including public offerings and privatizations, highly valued.
• Experience in capital raising, fund formation, and exit strategies is desirable.
• Extensive professional network in real estate, investment, financial, and government sectors.
• Excellent presentation skills for investment proposals and market analysis.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze UK logistics real estate market and macro fundamentals; develop growth strategies aligned with JD’s globalization plans.
• Source and execute logistics real estate investments in the UK.
• Build relationships with local agents, vendors, developers, and partners to generate deal flow.
• Lead deal screening, underwriting, and prepare investment cases for internal review.
• Coordinate with Transaction and Asset Management teams on deal execution and asset strategy.
• Research local markets and share insights with the team.
• Prepare presentations and memos for investments.
• Arrange project financing with local banks.
