Job summary

Raymond James UK is seeking an Assistant Implementation Portfolio Manager to join the CIO Office. You will support the delivery and ongoing management of centrally managed investment solutions and discretionary portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment models and client objectives.

The role offers exposure to portfolio construction, trading, risk monitoring and discretionary portfolio management within a growing investment function.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in finance or related field.
• Experience in wealth/investment management or private banking environment.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, asset classes and products.
• Exposure to portfolio management, implementation, trading or asset allocation.
• Progress towards CISI, CFA or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing management of centrally managed investment solutions and discretionary portfolios.
• Execute portfolio trades, rebalancing and cash management instructions in a timely, controlled manner.
• Assist in constructing, implementing and maintaining investment models aligned with asset allocation and client objectives.
• Monitor portfolio positioning, risk metrics and suitability to ensure alignment with mandates.
• Support Portfolio Managers in oversight of tailored and model-based portfolios.
• Manage investment implementation processes for new clients, transitions, cash allocations and standing orders.
• Produce portfolio analytics, management information, investment reporting and client-facing materials.
• Respond to adviser and stakeholder queries and ensure effective execution of investment requests.
