Job summary

Raymond James UK is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join the Portfolio Management & Asset Allocation team in London. This early-career role combines markets, data and quantitative analysis to shape our asset allocation thinking across a multi-asset universe.

You will work closely with the investment team on research, portfolio construction, risk attribution and model development using Python and Excel. CFA progress is advantageous as you grow with the firm.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of quantitative investment experience.
• Strong Python skills and data fluency.
• Solid understanding of global financial markets and multi-asset investing.
• CFA qualification or progress toward it is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-asset investment and asset allocation research.
• Support portfolio construction, risk and performance attribution.
• Analyze across equities, fixed income, credit, commodities, currencies and alternatives.
• Develop and test quantitative investment models.
• Use Python and Excel to improve investment analytics and processes.
• Translate quantitative signals into actionable investment insights.
