Job summary

Schonfeld is seeking a Data Sourcing and Strategy Analyst to join the Enterprise Data group. The role focuses on sourcing datasets for portfolio management, providing data-related expertise, and managing relationships with data providers across multiple asset classes and regions.

You will evaluate new datasets, deliver findings to investment teams, and build vendor relationships to maintain a competitive edge in data sourcing. Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of data or capital markets experience.
• Familiarity with different types of data and how they are used by investment professionals.
• Experience engaging with clients and managing relationships, ideally with investment professionals.
• A mind for efficiency and a desire to optimize processes.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identification, evaluation & due diligence of new datasets based on their potential value for creating investment insights.
• Delivery of research findings to investment teams, portfolio managers, and other internal clients.
• Leverage existing vendor relationships and develop new relationships to ensure Schonfeld maintains a competitive edge in data sourcing.
• Engage with sell-side to assist with data sourcing and management of alpha capture program.
