Job summary

Schroders in London is seeking a Consultant Database Specialist to join the Consultant Database Management Team. You will help ensure our product and firm-level data is accurate and accessible, delivering high-quality outputs for investment consultants, clients and third parties.

Reporting to the Senior Consultant Database Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve data processes, support global data submissions and strengthen our data governance across the Client Group.

Qualifications

• Data reporting and/or client reporting experience.
• Interest in private and public markets investment products.
• A strong team player who can use their own initiative and work independently.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Numerate with a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience using Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of accurate and timely data submissions to support Consultant Databases globally.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partnering with sales, public and private markets investment teams and subject matter experts from across the business to ensure our data serves our clients' and consultants’ needs.
• Support our global RFP function with data accessibility, data enablement and quality checks.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to produce accurate, high-quality data, while supporting team members through peer reviews to maintain consistency and quality standards.
• Liaise with external Consultant Databases providers to add and maintain product information on their platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve data processes, reduce manual effort and strengthen the quality, consistency and usability of Consultant Databases content.
