Lloyd's in London is seeking a Data Operations Lead to strengthen the quality, control and use of investment data across the organisation. You will oversee critical data activity, improve how information flows and help investment operations run effectively.

This role blends hands-on data work with leadership, collaborating with internal teams, service providers and the Lloyd's market to solve complex data challenges and deliver lasting change.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Aladdin (BlackRock)/investment data systems.
• Knowledge of security reference data across fixed income, cash instruments, equities and listed derivatives.
• Experience working with third-party providers and data vendors.
• Ability to interpret complex data structures and explain them clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investment data and middle-office activity to ensure data is accurate, complete and delivered on time.
• Lead setup, amendment and closure of portfolios, funds, custodians and counterparties.
• Monitor data quality, dashboards and exceptions; address issues promptly.
• Coordinate data collection cycles (monthly/quarterly) and work with third-party providers to improve processes.
• Plan, test and implement changes to investment data sources and maintain controls.
