Job Description:

Eden Scott’s Client is seeking a Client Onboarding & Governance Analyst for a 12-month contract based in Edinburgh. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

As a Client Onboarding & Governance Analyst, you will ensure that investment management agreements (IMAs) and related client documentation are accurately maintained, reviewed, and compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will liaise with internal teams—Legal, Compliance, Client Services—and external clients to support governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, update, and maintain IMAs and client contractual documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure contractual compliance with regulations and policies.
• Support onboarding of new clients and amendments to existing agreements.
• Coordinate with Investment, Risk, and Operations teams to understand and implement contractual obligations.
• Track governance deliverables and prepare for client reviews and audits.
• Enhance client governance processes and document control.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in client governance or similar within asset/investment management.
• Knowledge of IMAs, pooled fund documentation, and side letters.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, MiFID II, UCITS/AIFMD).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation management.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
