Job summary

LGBT Great is seeking an Investment Client Manager to join our Investment Consulting area. This permanent, full-time role is based in any of our UK offices: Glasgow, Bristol, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Amersham, Leeds, Liverpool or London.

You will review investment reports, draft tailored advice, assist with manager research, and develop junior team members while meeting deadlines and attending client meetings.

Qualifications

• Completed or expected to complete actuarial or CFA exams within 18 months.
• Prior experience in an investment analyst role.
• IT skills to perform all aspects of work efficiently.
• Strong presentation skills for small/medium audiences.
• GCSE Maths and English grade 5/C or higher.

Responsibilities

• Review investment performance reports and ensure accuracy.
• Draft investment advice addressing client needs.
• Carry out calculations and assist with manager research.
• Analyse liability projections and cashflow results.
• Support development of junior team members and coaching.
• Manage client work allocation and meet deadlines.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to advice delivery.
• Lead select complex projects and tasks.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Investment Client Manager to join our Investment Consulting area. This is a permanent, full-time role that can be based in any of our Glasgow, Bristol, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Amersham, Leeds, Liverpool or London offices

A snapshot of your day:

• Reviewing/checking investment performance reports
• Drafting investment advice to address the specific needs of clients
• Carrying out miscellaneous calculations
• Assisting with investment manager research
• Calculating liability projections and analysing actuarial valuation results and cashflow projections
• Carrying out analysis of investment strategies
• Training and developing junior members of the team
• Undertaking Personal Development Reviews for junior members of the team and carrying out performance coaching
• Client management, taking responsibility for allocation and completion of work, and meeting deadlines, working directly with senior members of the client teams
• Attending client meetings and taking an increasingly active role, helping to deliver investment advice to clients
• Direct responsibility for some complex projects/tasks

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Completed or an expectation of completing the actuarial or CFA exams within the coming 18 months.
• Prior experience of working in an investment analyst role
• IT skills to perform all aspects of work efficiently.
• Developed presentation skills to small/medium-sized audiences
• Minimum of GSCE Grade "5" or "C" in Maths and English.
