Investment Banking Vice President M&A Advisory (US Global Independent)

Business Services Sector. Based in London.

Our client, a leading US global independent investment bank, is actively hiring a Vice President (VP level depending on experience) to join their growing Business Services (mergers and acquisitions/ M&A) team in London.

The Business Services team has built a strong reputation covering professional services in particular (legal, accountancy and tech services businesses) and has delivered a number of sector-defining transactions in recent years.

The team mainly handles sell-side M&A, including large-cap work (e.g., £1B+) and is increasingly working with PLCs. Knowledge of UK takeover code, multiple products, and Public to Private transactions is advantageous.

Requirements for consideration

• 5-7 years of experience in a full-service (ideally Bulge Bracket) investment bank or leading Independent platform in London. Experience in Business Services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of financial valuation methodologies and their applications.
• Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams effectively, delivering high-quality work on schedule.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• High resilience, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm.
• The role is primarily deal execution-focused, with an opportunity to work on significant transactions.
