Qualifications

Job description

Our client:

We are working with leading Renewable Energy IPP with a strong track record across project development, construction, and long-term asset management, the company plays a key role in accelerating the UK’s transition to net zero. As a member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and driving transaction execution, complex financial modelling, investment analysis, and business development activities across the full project lifecycle.

The team is based in London and in office for 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and own complex financial models for greenfield and acquisition opportunities.
• Support the execution and negotiation of transactions
• Produce and present Investment Committee and Board papers
• Prepare financial analysis and commercial input for offers in formal and informal bidding processes.
• Support the assessment and execution of revenue and debt strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a similar transaction-focused environment.
• Strong financial modelling skills, with a track record of building and managing complex project finance models, including VBA.
• Proven exposure to deal execution, due diligence processes, and financial structuring.
• Prior experience in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy sectors is preferred
