Job summary

Macdonald & Company is seeking an Investment Analyst for a leading European private equity real estate investor in London. The role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle and collaboration with an experienced team across UK and Europe.

You will source deals, underwrite and model, execute acquisitions, prepare Investment Committee papers, and analyse markets and portfolios. 1–2 years PE real estate or related experience, strong Excel, fluent French or German desirable.

I’m working with a leading European private equity real estate investor that is looking to hire an Investment Analyst into its London investment team.

This is a genuine principal investing opportunity, working alongside an experienced team across the UK and wider European markets.

The role will provide exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including:

• Deal sourcing and screening


• Investment underwriting and financial modelling


• Acquisition execution and due diligence


• Investment Committee papers and presentations


• Market and sector analysis


• Portfolio and asset-level analysis

We are looking for:

• 1–2 years' experience in private equity real estate, real estate investment banking / M&A, or a transaction-focused real estate environment


• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills


• Excellent analytical and academic credentials


• Fluent French or German is highly desirable
