Investment Analyst Opportunity

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Investment Analyst within a large IFA practice.

Responsibilities:

1. Create bespoke client investment solutions using long-term strategic and short-term tactical asset allocation to meet client aims and objectives.
2. Analyze client portfolios and provide suitable investment recommendations.
3. Analyze global markets and funds down to stock level via the Morningstar research system.
4. Analyze financial data and macroeconomic information.
5. Network with industry professionals and liaise with fund managers.
6. Broaden companies' investment capabilities.
7. Conduct presentations for quarterly Investment Committee meetings and clients.
8. Monitor financial news and stay updated on market developments.
9. Report findings to directors and executive colleagues.
10. Perform online trades using platforms like Morningstar, OBSR, FVC, Exweb Exchange, and back-office systems such as Plum/Intelliflo.
11. Utilize platforms including Cofunds, Elevate, and Aviva.
12. Present investment processes to individual and corporate clients.

This role offers an excellent stepping stone from admin to paraplanning. The firm also runs an IFA Training Academy for future development.
