Investment Accounting Vice President/Associate - (London or Luxembourg)

About this role

As a Corporate Governance Authority, you will work closely with internal teams and business partners to ensure effective communication and high standards of governance.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the highest level of corporate governance within all BlackRock UK companies.
  2. Manage the business of various corporate entities by preparing agendas, Board packs, minutes, and monitoring policies.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with Chairpersons and Directors.
  4. Manage shareholder meetings as needed.
  5. Prepare high-standard submissions for the Board.
  6. Monitor and update UK Board and Committee diaries.
  7. Update company records and review documents and procedures.
  8. Draft minutes and matters arising for Boards and Committees.
  9. Review and update terms of references and advise on governance risks.
  10. Support governance and control frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  11. Develop and improve processes and controls in response to industry changes.
  12. Provide advice on Board governance matters to the business and directors.
Experience
  • Qualified Company Secretary experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including minute-taking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management.
  • Ability to build positive relationships across all management levels.
  • Experience with presentations and drafting reports.
  • Familiarity with Blueprint Software is advantageous.
  • Interest in investment instruments and markets is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UK funds regulatory environment is beneficial but not required.
