Job summary

Pertemps, supporting Parcelforce in Inverness, is hiring a Postal Delivery Driver. Immediate start on a temporary, full-time basis.

Earn £15.06 per hour, with shifts 6am–4pm, Tuesday to Saturday or Saturday only; start at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries and head out on a multi-drop route. You will deliver letters and parcels on foot or by vehicle, lift up to 20kg, and use a handheld device for signatures and route navigation.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and time management.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full UK manual driving licence (points 0-6, clean preferred).

Responsibilities

• Delivering letters and parcels on foot or by vehicle on multi-drop routes.
• Sort and load deliveries at the local delivery office at shift start.
• Use handheld device for signatures, navigation and route updates.
• Lift items weighing up to 20kg and carry mail bags up to 16–20kg.
