Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain and Inventory Analyst to collect, analyse and interpret operational data to support informed decision-making across the business. You will produce accurate reports, identify trends, investigate performance issues and deliver actionable recommendations to drive efficiency and improve service levels.

Qualifications

• Relevant practical experience in data analysis, reporting, inventory, supply chain, manufacturing or a related operational environment.
• Experience using data to support analysis, reporting and/or decision-making, ideally within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience working with ERP systems is desirable; JD Edwards (JDE) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Producing, maintaining, and continually improving daily and weekly performance reports.
• Supporting root cause analysis across key supply chain metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Monitoring backlog and production arrears, tracking progress against recovery plans and escalating emerging risks.
• Investigating waste performance and supporting improvements in stock rotation practices.
• Monitoring and reporting on short-dated, slow-moving, and non-moving stock to minimise obsolescence.
