Job summary

GXO is seeking a Stock Administrator to join our team supporting the Sainsbury's operation in Sherburn in Elmet. The role blends stock control with administration and operational support to ensure accurate movement of products through the warehouse.

The position is full-time and permanent, working 5 out of 7 days on rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00). A travel-independent approach is needed to reach LS25 6JH for shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administration, stock control or warehouse support role.
• Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure all warehouse systems are updated correctly.
• Produce daily and weekly reports, supporting operational performance and stock accuracy.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and support inventory processes including stock counts and audits.
• Process returns, clearances and other stock administration activities in line with site procedures.
• Respond to customer and operational queries professionally and efficiently.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to drive high standards of stock integrity, compliance and service.
