Job summary

Anderson Scott Solutions Ltd in Cannock is seeking a detail‑driven Supply Chain Assistant to support inventory administration, purchasing tasks and SAP data management, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you will excel at Excel work, liaise with suppliers and contribute to process improvements while jugging multiple tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, supply chain, purchasing, procurement or inventory roles.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory administration, including order confirmations, purchase order updates and POD chasing.
• Maintain stock and item master data within SAP.
• Completing data entry and supporting regular reporting.
• Provide administrative support to the procurement function.
• Liaising with suppliers and supporting routine supplier communications.
• Assisting with purchase order and procurement-related administration.
• Supporting the wider Supply Chain team with day-to-day activities.
• Helping to identify and implement improvements to processes and ways of working.
