Job summary

Lotus Natural Foods, the healthy snacking division of Lotus Bakeries, is seeking an Inventory Planner for their St Albans offices. This full-time role requires four on-site days per week, with the rest possibly on-site as needed, to ensure optimal stock levels and supplier coordination across procurement, sales, and logistics.

You will analyse data, manage supplier relationships, and develop procedures to improve turnover and reduce costs while collaborating with finance on budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Right-to-work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Strong numerical and data analysis skills.
• Collaborative communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Place orders with suppliers to replenish inventory as needed.
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory shortages or excesses.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
• Collaborate with finance on budgets and forecasts.
• Improve inventory turnover and minimize holding costs.
