We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Manager to join a leading, nationwide manufacturer in Ammanford.

This is a great opportunity to part of their success and play a very important role in the Supply Chain.

As Inventory Manager you will:

Oversee the internal supply chain, managing relationships with suppliers in both the UK and China to ensure the efficient and cost-effective handling of materials.

Order and maintain inventory within strict minimum and maximum levels, issuing materials through a team, receiving goods, and conducting accurate month-end stock takes.

Ensure inventory is maintained within strict minimum and maximum stock levels , implementing robust inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency.

Manage the internal supply chain, working with the UK and China suppliers to ensure timely and cost effective procurement, building strong relationships and resolving any supply chain issues promptly.

Plan and raise purchase orders based on production schedules and demand forecasts.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Supervise the team responsible for issuing materials to production and other departments whilst delivering training and performance reviews.
