Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking an Inventory First Line Manager at the Abercrombie & Fitch contract in Rushden. You'll oversee the inventory function, guarantee stock accuracy, and develop your team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This full-time position offers a salary of up to £30,000 per annum along with 33 days of annual leave and a comprehensive benefits package, including dental insurance and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of stock control processes and inventory management.
• Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (especially Blue Yonder).

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory operations, including cycle counts and system integrity.
• Lead and develop a team, providing feedback and training.
• Monitor WMS performance and resolve any stock/system issues.
• Plan labour, shifts, and workloads to meet operational demand.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve discrepancies.

Here at GXO, we're seeking an Inventory First Line Manager to join our Abercrombie & Fitch contract based in Rushden. You'll lead the inventory function and oversee the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring stock accuracy, system integrity, and operational efficiency. You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement while leading and developing your team in a fast‑paced environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 14:00 till 22:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Managing inventory operations, including cycle counts (PI), stock accuracy, and system integrity
• Leading and developing a team, providing feedback, training, and performance support
• Monitoring WMS performance and identifying/reporting any stock or system issues
• Planning labour, shifts, and workloads to meet operational demand and budget
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and resolving inventory discrepancies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven experience leading teams within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong knowledge of stock control processes and inventory management
• Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (Blue Yonder)
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
• A proactive, detail-focused individual with strong problem-solving skills
