Job summary

CDE Group in Newtownabbey is seeking a warehouse/store operative to manage goods inwards, stock control, despatch, and 5S standards in a busy store area. The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and strict adherence to safety policies.

Salary is based on experience with a full-time contract and a July 2026 closing date. Applicants should have at least 1 year in a similar role and prefer NVQ level 3 Warehousing/Stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in similar role.
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Good inwards – goods off load, verify against paperwork and verify quality.
• Stock management – ensure stock is put away in applicable section of stores.
• Despatch – accurately ‘pick’ goods for fabrication, site, assembly or spares.
• Maintain target 5s standards for work area and identify and implement improvements.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
• Stock counting – assist with the routine physical stock count and check stock levels on request.
