Job summary

Rhenus Logistics is seeking a warehouse stock controller in the UK to support daily cycle counting, stock management and data upkeep. The role requires safe operation of equipment and effective communication with ops and customer service teams.

You will work with tape counts and RF guns, maintain spreadsheets, and contribute ideas for process improvements. A shift pattern is provided, with standard hours set for early mornings and weekdays.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above or equivalent.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Basic computer literacy and Excel skills.
• Administration and organisation skills.
• Able to work with little supervision.
• Accurate and reliable.
• Able to work as part of a team as well as on their own.
• Familiar with Accellos.

Responsibilities

• Daily PI checks in line with cycle counting schedule – paper based/RF gun.
• Daily stock management to include checking empty locations, less then 3’s and suspend checks.
• Maintain cycle counting spreadsheet and summary in a timely manner.
• Perform investigations and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Prioritise work to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Liaise with ops team to resolve queries and assist with stock take preparation when required.
• Communicate with customer service and customer as needed.
• Work at height (approx. 18m) on scissor lift for AIR location checks.
• Contribute ideas for Continuous Improvement related to the role.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by the Line Manager and business needs.
• Communicate effectively with customers during weekly meetings.
• Coordinate with colleagues to enable the role to be carried out.
• Understand customer requirements to meet them.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies & safety procedures.
