Job summary

Marks & Spencer plc is seeking an Inventory Technician at the Castle Donington Distribution Centre. The role supports online and retail operations, ensuring stock availability and providing data-driven support to warehouse teams.

You will work a 12-hour shift pattern, including weekends and Bank holidays, with a two-week rolling rota. The role emphasizes accuracy, reporting, and proactive inventory management to meet customer delivery expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience with WMS systems and inventory processes.
• Good understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills with an analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Regularly track, monitor and update inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Record and maintain inventory data in Warehouse Management Systems.
• Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, adjustments and discrepancies; generate regular reports.
• Conduct periodic audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out problem solving related to inventory management and discrepancies.
