Job summary

HSUK in Medcare House, Gillingham, Kent, is seeking an Inventory Control Operative for a Monday–Friday PM shift (24hrs). You will count, verify, and investigate stock in the warehouse, run cycle counts, and communicate inventory variances to buyers using email systems.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, training upkeep, and maintaining housekeeping standards while supporting the IC team and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy are essential for daily tasks.
• Good communication and problem solving are assets.
• Flexibility and reliability for shift work and overtime.
• Ability to work as part of the IC team and cooperate with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Fully comply with Health and Safety requirements.
• Maintain required training as directed by Team Leader.
• Run and undertake cycle counts as directed.
• Process counts in the system and check variances.
• Email relevant stakeholders for information or authorization.
• Dispose of stock as directed and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Cover other IC Dept duties as requested by management.
• Meet company standards for quantity and quality of work.
