Job summary

GXO Logistics in Banbury is hiring an Inventory Administrator to keep stock counts accurate and ensure items are in the right place. You will use RF scanners and warehouse systems to support Goods In, replenishment, picking and loading.

This full-time, permanent role operates on an any 5 days from 7 pattern, 15:00 to 23:00, with benefits including pension, dental insurance and access to GXO University. Great attention to detail and prior warehouse experience are key for success.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse or stock control.
• Accurate data entry and inventory checks.
• Ability to investigate stock discrepancies.
• MHE licence preferred.

Job description

Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for an Inventory Administrator to join our team in Banbury for our customer, The Entertainer.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ’any 5 days from 7’ pattern, covering the hours of 15:00 to 23:00.

What you will do on a typical day

• Support stock take activities and ongoing inventory reviews, carrying out stock counts, audits and investigations to maintain stock accuracy across the operation
• Maintain strong stock control by following agreed procedures, updating inventory records and resolving stock discrepancies, defects and customer queries promptly
• Support warehouse operations across Goods In, replenishment, picking and loading activities, ensuring stock is processed accurately and efficiently throughout the warehouse
• Ensure stock is handled, stored and moved safely, using RF scanners and warehouse systems to meet operational targets, compliance standards and documentation requirements

What you need to succeed at GXO

• Previous experience within a warehouse, inventory or stock control environment, with a strong focus on accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills, including experience using warehouse management systems, RF scanners and spreadsheets
• A current MHE licence issued by a recognised institution is preferred, alongside a strong commitment to safe working practices, teamwork and flexibility
