Job summary

Rexel UK is recruiting an Inventory Administrator for our Aylesbury Distribution Centre on an eight-month fixed-term contract. You will help ensure stock data accuracy and keep systems up to date, supporting the Inventory and Operations teams in daily administration.

The role involves stock checks, data maintenance in WMS, and assisting with stock transfers and reporting. A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience using a Warehouse Management System.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Good numerical skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.
• Experience in inventory or stock control advantageous but not essential.

This role will support anyone looking to develop their skills within the warehouse operation and gain an insight to how the inventory team supports the operation and business.

This opening falls within the AM Shift 06:00 - 14:30, across the standard Monday to Friday working week.

As aInventory Administrator,you’ll support the smooth running of our warehouse and inventory processes, helping to ensure stock data is accurate, systems are up to date, and operational teams have the information they need to deliver great service.

What you will cover within the role:

• Supporting the Inventory and Operations teams with day-to-day administration
• Maintaining accurate data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Helping with stock checks, cycle counts, and stock validation
• Assisting with stock transfers and rotation controls
• Producing reports and supporting inventory analysis
• Highlighting discrepancies and helping drive corrective action
• Supporting communication of process changes across the site
• Assisting with WMS training for new and existing colleagues
• Working with teams across the site to improve processes and solve problems
