Job summary

Innovate Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Maintenance Engineers to support intralogistics and manufacturing projects across the UK. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance of material handling and automated systems, with fault finding and repair of conveyors and sortation equipment.

You will read engineering drawings and electrical schematics, perform diagnostics, and contribute to preventive maintenance programs while frequently travelling to customer sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience within intralogistics, automation, manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience maintaining conveyors, sortation, automated material handling equipment or production machinery.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance of material handling and automated systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of conveyors, sortation systems, automated machinery and associated equipment.
• Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Supporting preventative maintenance programmes and system reliability.
• Working from engineering drawings, electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Responding to breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime.
• Completing maintenance reports and site documentation.
• Working safely and professionally within customer sites.
