Qualifications

• HCPC registered diagnostic Radiographer with interest in catheter-based Interventional Radiology.
• Experience in providing care for Cardiac, Vascular, and Neuro patients.

Job Title: Radiographer - Interventional Radiology

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Radiographer to join our expanding catheter-based Interventional Radiology team at Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Northern General Hospital.

About the Role

This role involves providing high-quality care for Cardiac, Vascular, Neuro, and Interventional Radiology patients, including participation in a 24/7 service. We are looking for a HCPC registered diagnostic Radiographer with experience or interest in catheter-based Interventional Radiology. Our department covers a full range of IR procedures across 10 labs.

Training and Development

Training will be provided in Angiography and Interventional Radiology, including enrollment in the Angiographic Preceptorship Package. Training is tailored to individual needs and aims to develop skills to progress to a Band 6 position.

Candidate Requirements

• Registration with HCPC
• Experience or interest in Interventional Radiology
• Applications from student and apprentice Radiographers qualifying in summer 2025 are welcome
