We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Radiographer to join our expanding catheter based Interventional Radiology team.
We are aiming to recruit someone with excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills, a flexible approach to working and an ability to switch between tasks and work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate how they work within the Trust's core values during their daily practice.
This post is based at the two main Hospitals in Sheffield, the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Northern General Hospital.

All our interventional staff are dedicated to providing an outstanding service for Cardiac / Vascular/ Neuro and Interventional Radiology patients including with a 24/7 service.
We are looking for a HCPC registered diagnostic Radiographer who has experience of working in, or would like to work in, a catheter based Interventional Radiology department. We have 10 labs across the specialities covering a full and diverse range of IR procedures.
Training will be delivered in all aspects of Angiography and Interventional Radiology. The successful applicant will be enrolled on the effective Angiographic Preceptorship Package which was developed to assist in the maintenance and delivery of the expected roles and responsibilities for the position. The training will involve development of knowledge, skills and competencies in the use of the equipment and the skills to develop to a band 6 position. All training will be tailored to the individuals' needs depending upon their level of current experience.
Applications from student and apprentice Radiographers, qualifying in summer 2025, are welcomed.
Please also note this vacancy is banded dependent upon applicants' experience relevant to this post. The banding of the successful applicant/s will start at Band 5 unless applicants meet the necessary threshold of skills and experience required to start on Band 6.
