Job summary

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool invites applications for a Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist. This is a permanent 10 PA post with on‑call duties and a 10-session weekly workload.

The successful candidate will join a team of experienced neuroradiologists, contribute to clinical care, teaching, audit, and research while providing 24/7 thrombectomy coverage as part of the service.

Qualifications

• FRCR credential with radiology subspecialty focus is essential.
• Specialist registration with GMC or on track for it within six months of appointment.
• Experience and training in interventional neuroradiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality interventional neuroradiology and neurointervention services.
• Participate in MDT meetings, clinics and patient management; conduct research and CPD.
• Contribute to teaching, audit, and annual appraisal processes.
