Job summary

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool seeks a Consultant in Neuroradiology with a special interest in neurointervention to join a 24/7 thrombectomy service and a dedicated team.

The post requires full GMC registration, FRCR (or equivalent), and evidence of subspecialty neuroradiology training; CCT date within six months is acceptable. The role includes diagnostic neuroradiology, MDT participation, teaching, audits, and professional appraisal.

Qualifications

• Must have full GMC registration and FRCR (or equivalent).
• Evidence of neuroradiology subspecialty training.
• Be entered on the specialist register or have an expected CCT date within six months.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical care in neurointervention including diagnostic and therapeutic neuroradiology.
• Attend clinical meetings, MDTs, clinics and patient administration; provide on-call coverage.
• Contribute to CPD, teaching, audit, research and annual appraisal.
