Job summary

Medway NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant Cardiologist with an interest in Coronary Intervention to deliver high-quality interventional services and support the regional PPCI rota. The role includes inpatient and outpatient care, MDT participation, and contributing to the expansion of cardiology services, including a developing second catheter laboratory.

The post offers opportunities to develop interests in CTCA and Medical Education within a forward-looking Cardiology Department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Consultant with GMC registration in Cardiology.
• Experience in coronary intervention and interventional techniques.
• Active involvement in MDTs and regional on-call rotas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality interventional cardiology services including coronary interventions.
• Participate in PPCI rota and support the expansion of catheter laboratories.
• Contribute to education, training, MDTs, and development of cardiology services.
