Job summary

The Oxford Academy in Oxford is seeking an intervention tutor to support students with SEND in the classroom and in small-group sessions. You will collaborate with the SENCO to plan activities and organise targeted support to develop academic and social skills.

The Role

As an intervention tutor, the work involves both working in the classroom and running intervention sessions for students with SEND, either individually or in small groups. Responsibilities include collaboratively planning student activities with the SENCO and other members of the team, as well as organising the provision of support for identified SEND learners. The role focuses on supporting students in developing both their academic and social skills, ensuring that each learner receives the guidance they need to succeed.
