We are looking to recruit an Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting small groups and individual children in collaboration with the class teacher and the SENDCO.

This is a great time to join Water Meadows as we are expanding into a full 1-form entry school with a new extension providing 4 classrooms and a state-of-the-art library!

We are looking for teaching assistants who:

  • Recognise the need for education system changes to better prepare young people for the 21st century
  • Are able to utilize the latest technology to support modern learning
  • Want to develop their practice to meet the needs of an evolving school system
  • Aim to develop children as lifelong, curious learners
  • Build strong relationships with children to facilitate learning
  • Want to teach in environments that promote flexibility, collaboration, and independence

This role is:

  • Term-time only
  • Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 3:30 pm
  • Paid at pro-rata KR3, approximately £15,130 gross (for 43 paid weeks, including 5 weeks holiday pay)
