Ogier in Jersey invites applications for the 2028 Jersey trainee solicitor programme. This two-year training contract gives you early exposure to real client work and cross‑border matters, with the support to develop practical skills and confidence as a solicitor.

From day one you’ll have induction, mentors and opportunities to rotate across practice areas, with SQE study support and funding to help you build professional relationships across our international firm.

Qualifications

• Final-year students or non-law graduates welcome to apply.
• Must be studying or have completed the SQE.
• If already sat, must have passed SQE1 and SQE2.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to complex and cross-border matters across practice areas.
• Receive induction, mentoring and regular feedback to support development.
• Contribute to client work and build relationships across the firm and jurisdictions.
