Job summary

Ogier Guernsey invites applications for its 2028 Trainee Solicitor Programme. The two-year fixed-term contract provides early involvement in real client work, cross-jurisdiction exposure and a clear path to qualification as a solicitor.

You'll rotate through practice areas, receive induction, mentoring and SQE support, including financial help for SQE courses, and join an international firm with opportunities across offices.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2:1 degree (or predicted 2:1)
• AAB at A-Level (or equivalent)
• If you have already taken the SQE, you must have passed both SQE1 and SQE2

Responsibilities

• Two-year trainee programme designed to build confidence and broaden experience.
• You will rotate through different practice areas and gain cross-border exposure.
• Support for SQE with financial assistance towards courses and examinations, enabling focus on practical training and development.
• Mentoring, induction and structured feedback from supervisors and fellow trainees to foster professional growth.
