Maples Group invites applications for its Jersey Trainee Solicitor Programme, a bespoke training path combining hands-on commercial legal experience with the SQE route to qualification in England and Wales. The firm covers SQE preparation courses and exams, while trainees gain exposure to varied work to build two years of Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) required by the SRA.

Upon qualification and completion, successful trainees are encouraged to apply for newly-qualified positions in the Jersey

Competenze

• Must be in the final year of your undergraduate degree (law or non-law).
• Must complete the 20-week SQE1 preparation course between March and June and sit the SQE1 exams in July.
• Maples funds both the course and the exams.

Mansioni

• Participate in a two-year Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) alongside the SQE route.
