Job summary

Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe is seeking a Programme Finance Officer to support delivery of the CODAS R&D Programme. The role focuses on coordinating financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, and providing financial governance across UK and Japanese stakeholders.

You will liaise with the Programme Director, Finance teams and track leads, leveraging Japanese language skills to facilitate communication and collaboration while supporting day-to-day delivery and milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in programme financial reporting and budget monitoring.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivots, lookups and reconciliations.
• Experience coordinating financial reporting in complex projects.
• Fluent in Japanese and English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation and submission of programme financial and expense reports to stakeholders.
• Validate financial records for accuracy and compliance with funding requirements.
• Work with Finance teams and partners to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
• Maintain trackers, expenditure records and budget monitoring information.
• Support forecasting, audits and information requests with organized records.
• Act as operational liaison for Japanese stakeholders using language skills.
