Job summary

Overseas Development Institute (ODI Global) is seeking a Project Manager in London to oversee donor-funded projects from development through to delivery, finances and close-out. You will coordinate outputs, maintain schedules, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders while tracking project finances and risks.

The role reports to a Senior Portfolio Manager and collaborates with technical leads to ensure compliant delivery across the research group cycle.

Qualifications

• Education to degree level or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of project cycle management.
• Solid knowledge of financial management including budgets.
• Experience with donor contract negotiations.
• Experience in donor compliance and reporting.
• Experience managing projects across size and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal and budget development with the SPM and technical leads.
• Manage projects to ensure timely delivery and donor reporting.
• Lead procurement, contracting and management of partners and sub-contractors.
• Develop budgets and monitor expenditure with PFMs and reforecasts.
• Support donor engagement and reporting through narratives and financial data.
