Overview As International Operations Agent you will be responsible for the effective coordination, progress monitoring, and management of all communication related to the daily import and export of international freight-forwarding shipments into and out of the United Kingdom. You will oversee shipment handling across all transportation modes - air, ocean, and surface - ensuring that all activities are carried out in line with customer requirements and the contractual agreements in place. Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with retail customers by acting as a primary point of contact for purchase order (PO) management, shipment coordination, and supply chain visibility across global import and export movements
• Prepare accurate and profitable quotations, provide end-to-end service recommendations, and ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction
• Coordinate end-to-end shipment execution, managing both import and export freight movements, with a strong focus on cross-trade shipments and vendor-to-destination coordination
• Manage purchase orders from origin through final delivery milestones, ensuring timely execution, accurate tracking, and proactive communication with suppliers, carriers, overseas offices, and customers
• Plan shipping schedules and communicate with customers, carriers, ports, agents, and partners to verify loading, departures, arrivals, and overall shipment execution
• Act as a central coordination point within the Retail Control Tower, working closely with international stakeholders to direct shipments between multiple countries and regions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and agreed timelines
• Maintain accurate operational records and shipment data, including booking updates, milestone management, reporting, billing support, and adherence to customer SOPs, internal KPIs, and operational standards
• Liaise with carriers, overseas stations, agents, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of freight shipments while delivering a high level of customer service
  2-4 years applied on the freight forwarding industry experience
• CargoWise software experience a plus
• Customer Focus: knowing the customer business needs and acting accordingly; proactively addresses customer concerns
• Professional level oral & written English language skills
• Problem Solving: Having the ability to identify problems and issues of varying complexities and find effective solutions, considering multiple sides of an issue
• Attention to Detail: Ensures one's own work are complete and accurate; monitors the quality of work, verifies information
• Knowledge of raising and discharging of T1's would be an advantage
