Job summary

Sense International in the UK is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Team with financial management and reporting for international programmes.

This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours/week) offers hybrid working with two days per week at TouchBase Pears in Selly Oak, Birmingham and the remainder from home, with occasional travel to London and overseas.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting for international operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience monitoring donor funding and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting for international operations.
• Maintain financial records and reconciliations across entities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Monitor income and expenditure across international programmes.
• Provide financial information and analysis to budget holders.
• Assist with year-end accounts and audit activities.
• Contribute to improvements in financial systems and processes.
