Job summary

King & Spalding LLP in London seeks a Paralegal to support lawyers across international arbitration, cross-border litigation, enforcement, and related disputes. The role focuses on organising case files, preparing submissions, and ensuring confidential handling of client matters.

You will coordinate with vendors, translators and local counsel, assist at hearings, and help prepare hearing bundles and post-hearing materials, working under supervision in a fast-paced, global practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of litigation, arbitration or international disputes experience in a mid-to-large law firm.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, lawyers, staff, vendors and other participants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team across offices and time zones.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with document management and AI-assisted platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, drafting, cite-checking, formatting and finalisation of international arbitration filings and related materials.
• Perform extensive footnote review and organisation of supporting evidence for lengthy submissions and hearings.
• Organise and maintain case documents, pleadings, correspondence, exhibits and databases.
• Prepare document chronologies, summaries, exhibit lists and hearing indexes.
• Conduct factual and legal research to locate opinions and authorities.
• Coordinate vendors, translation services and local counsel.
• Assist at hearings and post-hearing tasks including bundles and transcripts.
• Supervise project assistants or other staff on large matters.
