Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience within Internal Sales, Sales Administration, Sales Coordination or Customer Service in a commercial role.
• Electrical or Electronics background is preferred.
• Ability to prepare quotations based on technical specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer enquiries by phone and email in a timely, professional manner.
• Develop a strong understanding of technical products and applications.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations to customer requirements and specifications.
• Review customer drawings, specifications and product information when needed.
• Liaise with engineering and production to confirm feasibility, pricing and lead times.
• Process sales orders accurately and communicate information internally.

Are you a technically minded Sales professional looking to join an established engineering business where you can develop your technical knowledge and play a key role in supporting customers and the wider sales team?

This company is the UK arm of an established European engineering manufacturer. They supply specialist electrical control, monitoring, and safety products including relays, timers, and associated systems to industrial, infrastructure, and railway customers.

The Role:

• Manage incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing a professional and responsive service
• Develop a strong understanding of the company's technical products and applications
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on customer requirements and technical specifications
• Review customer drawings, specifications and product information where required
• Liaise with engineering and production teams to establish technical feasibility, pricing and lead times
• Process sales orders accurately and ensure all relevant information is communicated internally
