Job summary

Safran Nacelles is seeking an Internal Scheduler in Burnley to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensure efficient flow of materials. The role involves planning, MRP validation, production order management, and capacity assessment within our ERP environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in supply chain planning, MRP2, and strong analytical and communication skills, with APICS BSCM qualification preferred. The position is onsite in Burnley on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Scheduling, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Good understanding of MRP2 principles.
• Experience using ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-term supply plans aligned to the MPS and customer demand.
• Validate MRP outputs and manage exception messages.
• Launch, sequence, and manage production orders within the ERP system.
• Perform detailed capacity planning and identify potential constraints.
• Negotiate delivery dates and quantities with internal suppliers.
• Monitor manufacturing progress and implement recovery plans where required.
• Analyse supply chain performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure stock accuracy through effective order management and receipting processes.
• Support subcontracted processes and manage production order closure and archiving.
• Participate in daily control rooms, planning reviews, audits, and improvement projects.

About the Role
