Job summary

Regional Recruitment is advertising an Internal Sales Manager role for a Tonbridge branch of a national electrical wholesaler. The candidate should have electrical wholesale experience or equivalent sector exposure and a proven track record in internal sales.

The role focuses on growing trade accounts and delivering excellent service from the trade counter. You will handle inquiries, prepare quotations, and work closely with warehouse and purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years internal sales experience or equivalent electrical sector experience with clear potential for a sales position (electrical wholesaler experience preferred).
• Confident communicator with strong customer service skills.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of trade accounts.
• Handle incoming enquiries by phone, email and at the trade counter.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to secure orders.

My client is a National Electrical Wholesaler with well over 300 branches Nationwide. They are looking for an Internal Sales Manager for their Tonbridge Branch. The candidate will need to working for an existing Electrical Wholesaler. Or as a Sales Representative for an Electrical Manufacturer, Electrical Distributor, Electrical Cable Sales or Lighting company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of trade accounts
• Handle incoming enquiries by phone, email and at the trade counter
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to secure orders
• Support external sales with account development and customer visits
• Work closely with the warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure excellent service
• Maintain strong product knowledge across the electrical wholesale range
