Regional Recruitment Services is helping a National Electrical Wholesaler in Chichester recruit an External Sales Manager. You will drive sales across the branch area, identify new business and strengthen client relationships with a focus on wholesale products.

The role requires proven field sales ability, comfort with cold calling, and driving responsibilities. A UK driving licence and professional presentation are expected.

Qualifications

• Cold calling on the telephone and in person willingness and tenacity.
• Ability to approach companies directly and spot target opportunities.
• Ability to demonstrate sample products face to face to clients.

My client is a National Electrical Wholesaler with well over 100 branches Nationwide. They are looking for an External Sales Manager for their Chichester Branch. The candidate will need to working for an existing Electrical Wholesaler. Or as a Sales Representative for an Electrical Manufacturer, Electrical Distributor, Electrical Cable Sales or Lighting company.

The Role of Sales Manager:

• Growing and increasing sales in the branch's geographical area.
• Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
• Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts
• The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
• Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.

Essential Sales Manager Skills:

• Cold calling on the telephone and in person willingness and tenacity
• The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company
• Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients
• The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
• The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
• Smartly presented portraying a professional company image
• A valid UK driving licence

• Punctual, reliable and able to demonstrate effective time management
