Job summary

Pertemps North West and North Wales is seeking an Internal Sales Executive in Runcorn. The role involves handling inquiries, generating quotes, and processing orders while delivering excellent customer service.

You will report to the Internal Sales Team Leader and work with Support, Despatch and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience. The position offers a starting salary of £28,000 with probationary review and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, sales support or customer service role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sales, negotiation and influencing skills with a proactive approach.
• Customer-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Good research skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities using online resources.
• Experience using CRM systems and Sage is desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Research potential customers and generate new business leads.
• Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
• Prepare and issue quotations while negotiating pricing and terms.
• Follow up enquiries promptly via telephone and email.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Promote and upsell the company's products and services.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Despatch and Marketing for a seamless customer experience.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service to ensure satisfaction.
