Job summary

Allstaff Recruitment is seeking a Sales Engineer/Estimator based in Bedford for a full-time permanent role. Salary is £30,000 with a Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm schedule and a Friday rota (1 in 4 weeks).

The position offers a pension contribution and life assurance after probation, with opportunities to handle bids, tenders and technical drawings. You will manage customer requirements, respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, educate customers on products, and maintain strong relationships through

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar sales engineering role.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and interpret both new and existing customer requirements
• Respond to technical sales enquiries
• Produce accurate quotes and prepare tenders, proposals, designs and technical documents – this will involve looking at technical drawings.
• Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education
• Build and promote strong customer relationships
• Offer after-sales service
• Receive and accurately log customer sales enquiries
• Progress customer orders to completion and notify customers with any changes.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer/Estimator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.

Summary of the Sales Engineer/Estimator role

Salary: £30,000

Location: Bedford

Type of Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am-4.30pm if not working Friday.

If working the Friay shift the hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 8am-12pm

1 in 4 Fridays
